At Overtake LLC, we are committed to providing a safe, engaging, and responsible entertainment environment. Our platform (play.overtake.app) is NOT a gambling site, and we do not facilitate or support any form of real-money gambling. No purchase is ever necessary to participate in our games.
Our goal is to ensure that all customers have a positive experience while maintaining control over their gameplay habits. To support this, we provide a range of tools and resources designed to help you manage your gaming activity responsibly. This policy outlines our safeguards, player tools, and educational resources to ensure fun stays fun.
Our Core Commitment to Responsible Social Gaming
We encourage all customers to enjoy our social games in a safe and balanced manner. To us, responsible social gaming means:
- Having fun while maintaining control over your playtime and spending.
- Exercising control over your playtime and controlling any in-game purchases.
- Balancing gameplay with other important aspects of life, such as work, family, and social commitments.
- Avoiding gameplay if you are under the influence of alcohol, illicit substances, or are feeling emotionally distressed.
- Recognizing when gameplay stops being enjoyable and taking steps to regain control.
Encouraging Healthy Play
We advise our community to follow these healthy engagement tips:
- Follow reasonable limits on your playtime and participation.
- Remember that all activity is for entertainment only.
- Do not treat gameplay as a source of income or financial reward.
- Take regular breaks and prioritize real-life obligations and responsibilities.
Recognizing Signs of Computer Game Behavior Concerns
Gameplay should always be a positive and entertaining experience. However, it’s important to be aware of behaviors that may indicate a loss of control, such as:
- Difficulty limiting playtime or spending.
- Prioritizing gaming over personal responsibilities, relationships, or other interests.
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not playing or participating in games.
- Neglecting work, family, or social commitments to play games.
- Continuing to play despite negative consequences in other areas of life.
It’s important to note that for a computer game disorder to be diagnosed, the behavior pattern must be of sufficient severity while resulting in significant impairment of personal, family, social, educational, occupational, or other important areas of functioning, and should normally have been evident for at least 12 months.
What to do if You or Someone you Know Needs Help

Player Tools and Controls
Your well-being matters to us. That’s why we offer comprehensive safeguards, monitoring systems, and educational resources to maintain a responsible entertainment environment.
The below tools make it possible to monitor your play, set limits for yourself, take a break, or self-exclude.
1. Take a Break (Cool-Off)
Players may request a temporary break from gameplay through the Player Safety section on the website or by contacting our support team at support@overtake.app. Take a Break duration options include 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 2 months, or 3 months. During this time:
- You can log in and redeem, but cannot play or claim bonuses.
- Your account will auto-reactivate 24 hours after the break period ends. Request and reactivation are both automatically confirmed by email.
- Contact our support team at support@overtake.app for additional assistance.
2. Self-Exclusion
Players may request Self-Exclusion through the Player Safety section on the website or by contacting our support team at support@overtake.app. Self-Exclusion options include 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or Indefinite. During this time:
- You will not be able to log into your account or access any activities on the Platform (full lockout). Biometric verification is required.
- For fixed terms (1 month to 1 year), your account will auto-reactivate 24 hours after the period ends.
- For Indefinite Self-Exclusion, reactivation is not automatic. After a minimum of 7 days following the expiration period, you may contact customer support to request reactivation, which is subject to a formal return-to-play review and is granted at Overtake’s discretion.
- Reactivation requests will require additional verification steps, including but not limited to identity verification, proof of residency, and compliance review. Reactivation may be denied if there are ongoing concerns about player welfare or compliance. All reactivation decisions are final.
Please do not attempt to circumvent a Self-Exclusion by registering a new customer account, creating new email addresses or otherwise disguising your identity to create a new account. Attempting to bypass this player safety tool may result in a permanent ban. We are not responsible for any actions or Gold Coin purchases made through new or additional accounts created to evade a Self-Exclusion. We recommend that any customer requesting Self-Exclusion also unfollow Overtake on all social media channels.
3. Purchase & Participation Limits
While all gameplay features are available for free, players who choose to make optional purchases can set Daily or Weekly Purchase Limits and Daily Gameplay Time Limits through the Player Safety section on the website or by contacting support.
Once limits are set, they cannot be increased for 30 days. Reductions take effect immediately. Any attempt to circumvent these limits may result in account suspension. These limits help reinforce moderation and personal responsibility.
Protecting Minors
We encourage players who share devices with minors to:
- Enable parental controls
- Use appropriate parental control software
- Keep account credentials private and secure
